Update on the 26th (not exactly sure when it started) Annual Hopkinton Summer Sizzler Baseball Tournament. The coaches meeting will be June 7 in Hopkinton.
We are scheduled to open up the tournament on Monday, June 13th, with the final Championship games being played on Sunday, July 17th. Each team will play up to 10 games to earn a "seeding" going into the final week, which is a single-elimination bracket with the number of rounds based upon the number of teams in the division. The champions and runners up should play a total of 12-13 games, weather-permitting. The Summer Sizzler Tournament understands that the 4th of July holiday weekend should not have scheduled games, so there will be NO GAMES from Saturday, July 2nd through Monday, July 4th.

9U: Players born between 9/1/2012 and 8/31/2013
10U: Players born between 9/1/2011 and 8/31/2012
11U: Players born between 9/1/2010 and 8/31/2011
12U: Players born between 9/1/2009 and 8/31/2010

Our goal remains consistent with regards to the objectives of the tournament: to have a great time playing a competitive "B Level" tournament, where all of the players can continue to develop their baseball skills on the diamond and make new friends in neighboring towns while providing the parents, the coaches and the fans some great baseball to watch.
